Royal Caribbean Group is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team onboard.

The Housekeeper Supervisor is responsible for providing overall leadership in the ship’s Housekeeping Operations ensuring all guest public areas throughout the vessel are operating in accordance with Company Operating Standards.

  • Ensures all Housekeeping Operations and procedures are executed consistently.
  • Is responsible for the control of equipment and supplies of the Housekeeping Operations Area and keeps a record of product consumption.
  • Develops and executes tactical plans to achieve financial targets.
  • Ensures team is well trained capable of consistently delivering against the standards.
  • Assign shifts, functions and supplies of the team and ensures that work stations are properly mounted.
  • Supervises the arrangement and cleanliness of the rooms, corridors, stairs and all public areas.
  • Coordinates the service and delivery of special requirements & products for the guests. Perform inspections to ensure quality cleaning of rooms and other public areas of the ship.
  • Develops and implements new ideas for operational efficiencies.

Requisitos

Requirements to apply:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or related.
  • Three to five years housekeeping managerial experience in an upscale hotel, resort or cruise line (shipboard experience preferred).
  • Advanced English Indispensable.
  • Maritime documents up to date required for the position by regulatory authorities in Galapagos (Passenger's ship).

Knowledge:

  • Cleaning procedures regarding public health standards.
  • Proper cleaning techniques and procedures, chemical handling and use of equipment.
  • Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing personalized services including needs assessment techniques, quality service standards, alternative delivery systems, and guest satisfaction evaluation techniques.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for the financial aspects of a housekeeping operation, including the successful identification of expense reduction through cost control.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for the management of headcount within assigned area.
